Children & young people who learn yoga are:

  • Engaging in a healthy activity, away from screens, improving physical growth and development

  • Learning age appropriate mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques that contribute to overall well being in and out of the class

  • A part of an inclusive, non competitive community where they are encouraged to accept themselves and others without judgement

  • Learning to become self aware, listening to their bodies as well as improving emotional literacy

  • Equipped with a toolkit for life - learning to manage stress, anxiety, anger, focus, attention span, sleep, resilience, confidence, and much more

Nursery

Balance Kids is also available to teach nursery sessions!

These sessions incorporate stories and songs in shorter, adapted sessions for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Yoga at this age is great for developing fine and gross motor skills, the vestibular system, digestive system and balance as well as learning to listen and communicate emotions from a young age.
